Ninja Assassin

If you couldn't get enough of Rain's hotness in his concert or mtv, check out his latest Hollywood movie in cinema "Ninja Assassin", Rain is f'n hot, sexy and bloody looking good in Ninja Assassin. He kicks ass in the movie..

It's funny, the thought of a pop-star becoming an action movie hero seems ridiculous to most. But Rain as baddest, bloodiest, most hard core Ninja assassin in the movie is awesome. Because Ninja Assassin is, far and away, one of the best martial arts movie I've seen in a big theater.... probably since The Matrix. Which makes sense, since it's produced by The Wachowski Brothers, the same director of The Matrix.

The synopsis:

Raizo (Rain) is one of the deadliest assassins in the world. Taken from the streets as a child, he was transformed into a trained killer by the Ozunu Clan, a secret society whose very existence is considered a myth. But haunted by the merciless execution of his friend by the Clan, Raizo breaks free from them...and vanishes. Now he waits, preparing to exact his revenge. In Berlin, Europol agent Mika Coretti (Naomie Harris) has stumbled upon a money trail linking several political murders to an underground network of untraceable assassins from the Far East. Defying the orders of her superior, Ryan Maslow (Ben Miles), Mika digs into top secret agency files to learn the truth behind the murders. Her investigation makes her a target, and the Ozunu Clan sends a team of killers, led by the lethal Takeshi (Rick Yune), to silence her forever. Raizo saves Mika from her attackers, but he knows that the Clan will not rest until they are both eliminated. Now, entangled in a deadly game of cat and mouse through the streets of Europe, Raizo and Mika must trust one another if they hope to survive...and finally bring down the elusive Ozunu Clan.

The movie mainly focusing on the actions part with bloody hell breathtaking martial arts choreography and yeah, it's pretty violent. Like, half-a-head lopped off in the first 3 minutes violent. Before even the film’s title appears, heads and limbs have popped off or been sliced in two, and the blood sprays like fountain. I wonder how much nippon paint they used in this movie? Anyway, you gonna love 'em. Besides actions, there were emotional relationships that makes the story more interesting and meaningful.

Rain, as an actor, is a huge improvement over his minor role in Speed Racer, although his dialogue is kept short. His English has major improvement. I'm shocked that he could speak in an american slang and his pronunciation is accurate, way better than me who speak english since young. Not to mention his acting of course, it is great since he acted in various movies and drama before.I just respect the guy for letting himself drop the boy band image to get cut up and ugly with a growing collection of wounds throughout the movie. Being a big fan of Rain the actor and Rain the Pop Star, it's pretty clear he can do just about anything...it's about time he gets recognized for it.

In short, it's bloody f'n good.
